The important gear and equipment for harvesting.
The main products of stingless bees that can be harvested include: honey, propolis (cerumen), and beebread (pollen). The following steps could be adopted in harvesting honey. The important equipment may include the pump set, bee suit, later gloves, punching sticks etc.

The steps of harvesting honey.
Steps of harvesting honey:
- Best time for harvest is early morning until noon.
- Make sure all equipment are sterile and working.
- Only harvest every 40 days, when forage resources are abundant (outside monsoon and drought seasons).
- Remove the roof, open honey topping seal and locate the honey section made up of sealed pots that are stacked together.
- Puncture/open the top of the honey pots with the punching stick.
- Put the pump hose into the opened pots so that honey can flow out into the pump container.
- Make sure all the honey in punctured pots have been emptied.
- Cover the topping with its roof to secure the hive.
- Reseal the topping and make sure to wipe all honey spillage.
- During the harvesting, some amount of hive products should be left in the hive to sustain the colony.
- As much as possible, the brood section of the colony must be left undisturbed.
- Weigh the honey and measure the moisture content.
- Record the important detail on a book or system.
- The harvested honey in the containers may have impurities such as dead bees and debris from the hive as well as some pieces of wax.
- Clean honey can therefore be obtained by straining with sieve.
- Transfer the honey from the pump bottle to the storage bottle.

This application is based on an Android system which runs on any system with SDK Version 16 and above to assist stingless-bee farmers in recording information on the important aspects of stingless-bee keeping such as hive health, security, and hive produce on smart devices. In the invention, all information related to the hive is recorded and transferred to a Google Firebase real-time database. EMAS fetches all the information from the database and represents it on graphs and pages.
